Beth Attebery, CPA
—Partner
Beth Attebery is a partner at the Henry Levy Group, working with individuals, business owners, and tax-exempt organizations to help them create strategic tax plans and meet tax compliance responsibilities without losing their focus on the first priority: running their organization. She oversees the firm’s tax practice as well as providing leadership on internal technology matters. With a special emphasis on stock option transactions, real estate and divorce-related transactions, Beth loves getting to know her clients and seeing them thrive as they take each new step. She finds it deeply rewarding to help a person or organization experience progressive growth and financial success.
Numbers and research have always come naturally to Beth, who appreciates the structure of accounting work and the diversity of working with the public. Every new day is different! She is also happy in the world of words. In fact, Beth began her career as a research editor and recently co-edited a widely referenced book on international accounting standards. She is an active member of the AICPA as well as the California Society of CPAs, and a board member for the Tri-Valley Estate Planning Council.
A lifelong resident of Pleasanton, CA, Beth earned a Bachelor of English at the University of California, Davis. Beth is active in her hometown’s civic and community groups, serving as Co-Chair for the Pleasanton Rotary Club’s annual Father’s Day Spirit Run. She is a committed animal lover with a house full of rescue animals: two Australian Shepherds, Stella and Roxy, and cats Puma and Crash. Beth and her husband Jon are the parents of two young daughters. When not out running with Stella and Roxy, Beth enjoys yoga, reading, drinking wine, attending concerts and spending time with her family.
